About Course

The Periodization Strength and Conditioning course is the key to maximize athletes performance at the right time and prevent injury in individual and team sports.

Whether you are a coach involved in a specific sport or variety of sports, or a personal trainer desiring involvement in the strength and conditioning field, this course will improve your training and conditioning programming skills.

one of our goals in our teaching is not memorization, but application.

As a participant you will learn how to:

  • Plan structured training in accordance with the competition schedule.
  • Manipulate the training variables and loads to create the adaptation needed for athletes to reach peak performance.
  • Select periodization schemes appropriate to a given sport, athlete, and desired performance outcome (Classic, Summated Microcycles and Block Periodization)
  • Identify the different energy systems and biomotor abilities that are required in each sport or event.
  • Train the dominant abilities (i.e. speed, strength and endurance..etc) required to achieve peak performance for each sport.
  • Plan a specific training program for each biomotr ability with varied exercises and intensity levels to obtain the desired training effect for each phase and session.
  • Plan and apply a specific plyometric , ballistic and compound training program.
  • Prevent Injury and safe return to Sport.
  • Integrate power, agility, speed, and endurance training with strength training for maximum sport performance.
  • Apply periodization to the development of biomotor abilities over the Season (Training Practical Models).
